Is getting sleep support a failure?

“I feel like getting help is a bit of a failure…”

This is something I hear too much. It makes me so sad. And if you’ve ever felt this way, you are not alone.

Yes, of course babies sleep will change over time but that doesn’t mean you have to struggle through months (or years!) of exhaustion and wait for things to magically improve.

Getting support is NOT a failure.

Needing help doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong.

Wanting better sleep for your baby (and yourself!) is completely acceptable.

You can be a great parent and still want sleep. You can trust your instincts while also learning new ways to support your baby. And if sleep is something you’re struggling with, you deserve the guidance that makes it easier.
